Set Adrift on Memory Bliss

It's been a looooooong time, and lots of things and stuffs have happened. I don't feel comfortable elaborating on the internet just yet, but rest assured, I'll get to it. In the meantime there is this:

The House of Dudes is going to throw a party. And boy what a party! This party is going to be so great that we haven't even picked a date, because we need to make sure all the details are perfect. "What details?" you may ask. Well, the playlist, for one.

It all started a month ago while I was watching tv. A commercial came on that had been playing every hour or so for what seemed like weeks, and finally, it worked itself into my brain. I had no choice; I had to buy the two-disk Monster Ballads collection. When it arrived, we all sat around the living room listening to the winds of change (as it were), and feeling nostalgic for the days of public school dances in gymnasiums and church basements. And thus began the party planning.

So now I send out a plea to all: what were the songs that popped up between, say, 1989 and 1994 to be played at school functions and then just as quickly disappear like dust in the wind? Remind me of something we haven't yet listed and you might just get an invite...

Greeting. Always be nice to those younger than you, because they are the ones who will be writing about you.
I am from Guinea-Bissau and learning to read in English, please tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "The figures vary while injuring century weeks of madonna neck while containing a pension and culture season."

With respect 8), Godfrey.
