True to form, the New England weather pulled an about-face on the day following the icy misery-from-above. It did not improve on Saturday night. No, that would have been far too much to ask as we were clomping through slush and grossness in not the most practical halloween costumes. But the next day? Gorgeous. Today the temperature got up to 70 and I watched the happy birds flitter about outside my office window. The maple trees are at their peak. All around, the weather is spectacular, but...the sun goes down half an hour before I get off work so the point is essentially moot.
Brava, New England, brava.
